Why assessment matters

Similar Symptoms Can Have Different Causes

Leg pain, swelling, colour change and wounds are not diagnoses by themselves. The cause may be arterial, venous, lymphatic, neurological, infectious or related to another medical condition. A vascular examination and appropriate imaging help identify the correct pathway.
